How universal basic income could fix inequality

We all know that a universal basic income would help eliminate poverty and reduce crime, but it would also help fix inequality issues too, especially with women.

A universal basic income, or UBI is the idea of a monthly regular paycheck to all citizens, the concept is getting more and more popular as time passes, mostly because it seems like it’s the only true solution to many issues.

Its supporters back the idea for several reasons, but one of them is usually ignored or not paid enough attention, a UBI would also help with inequality.

Many people are financially depended on other people, disliked jobs, all kinds of abusers etcetera, a universal basic income would give them the freedom to choose the job they desire.

Women are usually underpaid at many job positions, a universal basic income would also help in that, as these people will now have the option to leave the specific position and replace it with a more fair one.

Artists and creative people are also undermined by the economic system and usually underpaid too, a UBI would enable them to take some time of their regular job so they can instead make a living of their art or hobby.

Finally, a universal basic income would help fulfill the human right of the article 25 of the universal declaration of human rights says that “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family,”.
